Canyon County unveiled a new and improved website this week in an effort to better engage and serve the community. The new site features a completely revamped infrastructure designed to be more effective in delivering news, information and services to the citizens of Canyon County. Aside from offering up-to-date and comprehensive information about county services and events, the new website is much more uniformed and reliable, making it easier to maintain and deploy new applications for our citizens to utilize.
We understand that no one really likes coming to the Courthouse aside from getting a marriage license or maybe applying for a passport,” said Chief Information Officer Rob Hopper, so we wanted to make it easier for them to access the services and information they need from the comfort of their own homes.
The new Canyon County website also features a new design and improved tools that make it easier to navigate and more user friendly. For instance, the home page includes links to some of the more highly-visited pages which allows users to find the information they need more quickly, such as job openings and election information.
