Misdemeanor Probation Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Canyon County Misdemeanor Probation Department to reduce criminal behavior in misdemeanor offenders by providing opportunities for competency development while holding them accountable and protecting the community.



Misdemeanor Probation is located on the second floor, above Juvenile Detention/Probation.

Internship  Opportunities

Misdemeanor Probation offers interns an opportunity in which we expose students to a wide variety of tasks within the field of probation.  Some examples of these tasks include field work, case management, treatment collaboration, and exposure to the court system.
