ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE INDIVIDUALLY WITH EXACT CHANGE. PAYMENTS CAN NOT BE COMBINED. IF PAYMENTS ARE MADE WITH CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, THEY MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO “CANYON COUNTY”. NOTE: THE JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICE DOES NOT MAKE CHANGE.  

Cost of Supervision: The supervision fee is $25.00 per month per juvenile when the juvenile is placed on Probation or Informal Adjustment. Juveniles placed on Diversion through the probation department will pay a one time fee of $50.00 when they sign the behavior contract. Payments are to be made at the Juvenile Probation Department or can be mailed.

Restitution for JV (juvenile) Cases: Payments are to be made at the Juvenile Probation Department, or can be mailed.

Community Service Work Program: Fees are assessed at $0.60 per hour. Fees must be paid prior to performing any community service work hours. Payments are to be made at the Juvenile Probation Department, or can be mailed.

Drug Tests: Drug tests vary depending on substances tested for, with the minimum cost of $5.00 per test. Payments are to be made at the Juvenile Probation Department, or can be mailed.

Juvenile Justice Assessment (JJA fee): Must have the juvenile case number to pay the fee. Payments are to be made at the Canyon County Courthouse on the 2^nd floor, room #234, or can be mailed.

Public Defender Reimbursement: Must have the juvenile case number to pay the fee. Payments are to be made at the Canyon County Courthouse on the 2^nd floor, room #234, or can be mailed.

Fees for CR (criminal) cases: Must have the CR case number to pay the fee. Any court ordered fees for CR cases are to be made at the Canyon County Courthouse on the 2^nd floor, room #234, or can be mailed.

Juvenile Sheriff’s Inmate Labor Detail program (JSILD): JSILD fees are $15.00 per day. A parent/guardian must be present with the juvenile, and the juvenile must have photo ID and pay for at least the first two days. Payments are taken Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For questions call (208) 454-6882.
