Instructions

Please read the following instructions carefully.

You may search for documents by Instrument Number, Name, Date, Type and Requestor.

You may not locate a document by address. If you have an address, but not the owner's name, you will need to contact the Assessor's Office at (208) 454-7431 for assistance.

This is an index only. To view the actual document, please go to the Recorder's office.  For Patrons outside the local area, you may request a copy of documents by completing the following steps:

  1. Call the Recorder's Office at (208)454-7555 or (208)454-7553
  2. The Recorder's Office will provide the cost of mailing the documents to you
  3. Payment must be made in advance

Research by Instrument Number:

  • Place instrument number in the Find Instrument field

Research by Name:

  • Place the person's name in the Name field (Example: Smith, Bob or Smith, B)
  • Do not use a period, an apostrophe, or Title (Dr., Mr., Mrs., DDS., etc.)

Research by Date:

  • Select a Begin and End date to limit your search to a specific date range

Research by Type:

Document Types and their descriptions can be found on the Recorder Document Types/Description.

  • Click on the arrow next to the Type field.
  • Select the document type of choice (DEED, MTG D OF T, etc.)

Research by Requestor:

  • Place the name of business name of the requestor (that requested it to be recorded) in the Requestor field.
