Canyon County Treasurer Tracie Lloyd is reminding taxpayers that their 2018 first half property taxes must be paid by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 to avoid late charge and interest.  Payments made after the December 20 deadline will be assessed a 2% late charge and interest will begin accruing January 1st at a rate of 1% per month.

Paying In-Person
Property taxes can be paid in-person at the Treasurer’s Office on the second floor of the Canyon County Administration Building, located at 111 N. 11th Ave., Suite 240 in Caldwell.  The Treasurer’s Office accepts cash, checks, credit/debit cards, money orders and cashier’s checks.  Please note a convenience fee of 2.5% ($2.00 minimum) is charged by the credit card processor on all payments made with a credit or debit card.  No part of this fee is retained by Canyon County.

Paying Online
Payment by credit/debit or electronic check is accepted online using the Canyon County Online Tax Payment Page.  Taxpayers will need their 10-digit bill number or PIN number, which can be found on their annual tax notices.  Please note a convenience fee of 2.5% ($2.00 minimum) is charged by the credit card processor on all payments made utilizing a credit or debit card.  A $3.00 check convenience fee is charged when utilizing the E-Check feature.  No part of these fees is retained by Canyon County.

Paying by Telephone
Payments can be made via telephone by calling 1-844-292-2243.  A convenience fee of $1.50 plus 2.5% is charged by the provider for this service.  No part of this fee is retained by Canyon County.

Paying by Mail
Payments submitted by mail must have a valid US Postal Cancellation no later than December 20 to be considered current.  Property tax payments can be mailed to the following address:
