      • Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Lance Cpl. Cochran

        In congruence with Governor C.L. ”Butch” Otter, the Canyon County Commissioners have asked that flags at all County owned buildings, grounds and parks be lowered to ½ staff on Monday January 30, 2012 from Dawn until Dusk in honor of U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Kenneth Cochran, age 20 from Wilder, Idaho.  Lance Cpl. Cochran was killed in combat operations in Afghanistan on January 15, 2012 supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.  Lance Cpl.       • Courthouse Office Changes

        Beginning on January 9, 2011, Room 201 and 202 will be switching offices. Room 201 will become the Criminal Proceedings Office.  Room 202 will become the Civil Court Clerk's Office.  Read More »
      • Courthouse Security

        As part of the County’s ongoing process to provide for the safety and security of its employees and visitors, the following entrance protocol is effective immediately:

        All persons entering the courthouse through the main entrance on Albany Street will be subject to the walk-through security metal detector and follow up scanning as necessary. This includes employees and frequent visitors to the courthouse.
