The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) teamed up with the Canyon County IT Department to launch a Jail Statistics website on January 17, 2019, to provide citizens with a transparent look at the daily inmate population and jail overcrowding issues facing Canyon County. The website offers both current and historical data on inmate populations, out-of-county housing numbers and costs, and more. The website is updated each day at approximately 5:15 a.m. to provide a current snapshot of the jail’s population, broken down by gender and inmate classification.
