IT Admin/Technical Services Manager

The IT Administration and Support Manager is responsible for the management of the administrative and technical support functions for the Information Technologies Department, including the print shop operations, countywide telephone and copier services, IT helpdesk and operations, the purchasing of Canyon County IT’s computer and network systems, the County’s mail distribution. In addition, the IT Administration and Support Manager directs the county’s IT purchasing requirements and procurement processes for all county departments, and performs related work as required.

Education and Experience
*High school graduate or GED certificate; preferably supplemented with course work in office
applications;
*Three (3) to Five (5) years administrative support experience; preferably in a customer service
position; AND
*At least one (1) year of supervisory experience; OR
*Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities
necessary to perform the work.

Special Qualifications
*Must possess a valid Driver’s License;
*Must successfully complete a background investigation through the National Crime Information
