Forrey, a Certified Planner, is currently the Director of Planning and Co-owner of Pathway Asset LLC, in Boise, providing urban planning services and technical support, and was previously the Director of Planning and Development for Kastera Homes, and has also worked for government entities including the Ada County Highway District, City of Meridian and the State of Idaho. Wayne is a native of Idaho and has lived and worked in the Treasure Valley since 1978.

He is a charter member of the American Planning Association and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
 
“We have high expectations for Wayne, and we think he will meet them,” said Commissioner Steve Rule. “This is a time of transition for the Development Services Department, and the commissioners believe Wayne can lead that transition. There are also a number of things we’d like to see happen in terms of planning for growth in the county, so Wayne’s going to hit the ground running.”
