Forensic Services

Mission Statement:

 The mission of the Canyon County Sheriff's Office Crime Lab is the collection, processing, analysis and storage of evidentiary items involving criminal cases.  The Crime Lab will perform these tasks with professionalism, excellence and integrity while finding truth through forensics.

The Forensic Services Team consists of 5 members who have over 50 years combined experience in law enforcement, Certification at Latent Print Examiner, Certification as Senior Crime Scene Analyst and Crime Scene Investigators, POST Certified Officers, Forensic Odontology, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Science, Blood Spatter Analysts, Fire and Arson Investigators, Forensic Video Analysts and Serial Number Restorationists.
