Paying in-person

The Treasurer's Office will accept cash, checks, money orders or cashier checks. Please bring your payment to the Canyon County Courthouse at:

When you pay by check you authorize us to process your payment electronically. Funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day we receive your payment. You will not receive your original check back from your financial institution: however an image of the check will be available from your financial institution.

Credit Card Payment

The Treasurer's Office can now accept credit card payments in the office.

You can also pay online with a credit card by using the Canyon County Online Tax Payment page.

You will need your 10 digit bill number or PIN number, located on your annual tax notice.

A convenience fee of 3.5% is charged by the credit card processor on all payments made using your credit card. (Both via the internet & in person) No part of this fee is retained by Canyon County.

Monthly Payments

Any portion of a property tax may be paid at any time, however,
to avoid late charge and interest, total payment must be made in full by the due date.

Partial payment of any tax will not invalidate any collection process.
