July 27, 2023 — The Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources Department announced today that campfires will be prohibited at Celebration Park beginning Friday, July 28, 2023. All of the designated fire pits at Celebration Park will be closed. Fires outside the designated fire pits, including in portable fire pits, will also be prohibited. In addition, no pallet fires, rock ring fires, or charcoal grills will be allowed. Propane camp stoves for cooking will still be allowed while the burn ban is in effect.
The fire danger at Celebration Park remains extreme, so visitors are asked to please adhere to the campfire ban to help protect Celebration Park and the surrounding areas.
