Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources is excited to announce its new online booking system for field trips that will allow schools and other educational organizations to view available dates and make reservations directly from the county website.
“We couldn’t be more excited to offer this new tool to the thousands of kids and educators that take field trips to our parks each year,” said Nicki Schwend, Director of Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources. “Not only will it make it easier for our local educators to plan their future field trips, but it will also streamline the process for our staff and allow us to better serve the students when they visit one of our parks.”
Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources offers a variety of place-based, educational programs that introduce students to the cultural and natural heritage of Canyon County, from Lake Lowell to the Snake River Canyon at Celebration Park. All Canyon County Parks field trip programs are completely free of charge; however, reservations are required.
Due to the popularity of the educational programs, we recommend reserving your field trip at least one year in advance. Visit Canyon County Parks website to learn more about our parks and programs, and to make your field trip reservation.
