General Statement of Duties

Provides reception and customer services for personal and telephone contacts; performs secretarial or office duties to support the functions of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office; assists the elected Prosecuting Attorney in performing all of the statutory and constitutional functions of the Office; performs related work as required.

 

Classification Summary

This is a support position that provides professional reception and office duties to support the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Duties include responding to personal and telephone questions; logging relevant calls for cases; preparing daily and weekly calendars; processing mail; and maintaining case management systems. The job requires excellent customer service skills, multi-tasking and organizational competence, and some knowledge of legal terminology and court proceedings. The position requires ability to deal with challenging customer service situations. The work is performed under the direct supervision of the Administrative Supervisor or Assistant Administrative Supervisor. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.

 

 

Compensation: $28,651.78 – $33,921.20 annually DOE
