New life jacket loaner station at Celebration Park’s East End

Canyon County Parks, Cultural and Natural Resources is pleased to announce the installation of a life jacket loaner station at the newly improved east end of Celebration Park. The new life jacket loaner station is designed to provide loaner life jackets of all sizes to park visitors in need, free of charge.

“We are really excited to be able to offer this simple gesture to our park visitors,” said Nicki Schwend, Director of Canyon County Parks, Cultural and Natural Resources. “They will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The only thing we ask is that people please return the life jackets back to the station when they are no longer using them.”

The project was a collaborative effort between Canyon County Parks, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Canyon County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol Division.
