The Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources Department has begun a planning effort to develop a Parks, Pathways, and Cultural Resource Plan that will help guide investments and decisions over the next ten years. When finalized, this plan will supplement the Canyon County 2030 Comprehensive Plan and set aspirational goals for the continued development of a countywide system of outdoor recreation opportunities, vibrant and protected open spaces, and celebrated cultural resources.

This survey is designed to collect information about your perceptions of parks, open spaces, trails, and cultural resources in Canyon County. The Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources department will then use the information obtained from the survey to inform the values, strategies, and investments made around Canyon County parks, open spaces, and pathways over the next ten years.

 Survey Goals:

  • Identify what the public most enjoys/likes about the parks, open spaces, pathways, and cultural resources (and programming) in Canyon County.
    • Addressing connectivity – how easy is it for you to get to a park’s location by various modes of transportation.
  • Identify challenges and places of opportunity.
  • Identify what community values should be considered when making decisions.
  • Identify community-supported projects and investments.
  • Identify support or lack thereof for funding mechanisms and budget allocation.

Click the link at the top to take the survey. It should take about 10 minutes to complete and your responses are anonymous. Thank you for your time and thoughtful input.
