The duties of a poll worker is to assist the Elections Office in administering elections by checking-in and registering voters at polling locations, ensuring they are provided the correct ballot, and helping explain to voters how to correctly cast their ballots. Poll workers must be able to work 14-hour days during the four elections held each year on the following dates:
• March: Second Tuesday
• May: Third Tuesday
• August: Last Tuesday
• November: Tuesday after the First Monday
